Electrical Safety Program
- We are experts in the implementation of the “Electrical Safety Program” that organizes electrical safety activities for voltage levels, energy levels and physical conditions of the electrical network that is going to be operated and maintained in an industrial plant.
- The program that we implement has: policies, procedures, practices, audits and controls, in order to be able to monitor their compliance, aiming for continuous improvement and reducing the rate of electrical accidents.
- The “E.S.P.” is a fundamental tool for:
- managing electrical safety at the industrial site
- Implementing an audit tool focused on improvement plans
- Implementing a local electrical safety community “Electrical Safety Commission” with the aim of sharing good practices and continuous improvement actions.
- Managing an “Electrical Risk Matrix” that contains the risks of shock and electric arc in all of electrical installations.
- Carrying out the “Risk Analysis” so that every worker is aware of the type of PPE in each situation and can proceed accordingly.
- Establish an electrical safety training program appropriate to the skill required for each position.
- Ensure clear methods to obtain an “electrically safe work area” (LOTO lock out – tag out procedure).
Carrying out “Electrical Safety Audits”, verifying compliance with the American standard NFPA 70 E and with electrical safety labor laws, are part of our added value.
We are providing our clients with a defined framework to find the “non-conformities” and the clearest strategy to bring electrical activities and installations to ideal conditions.
