We are pleased to announce that Gener USA LLC has been selected to conduct the arc flash study at the Rucatayo Hydroelectric Plant and the Rucatayo and Pichirraue Substations, both 220 kV, owned by Statkraft. This important project reaffirms our company’s commitment to electrical safety, operational reliability, and regulatory compliance in high-voltage facilities in Chile. The study, required by international standards such as NFPA 70E and IEEE 1584, aims to assess the risks associated with potential arc flash events and establish the necessary protective measures to ensure the safety of personnel who operate and maintain these electrical power systems.
