We conducted training in “electrical risk” for all Unilever plants in Latin America. The training was conducted over 3 days, with the participation of qualified electrical personnel from industrial plants located in Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Chile and Argentina.
The training in Electrical Risk was based on Unilever’s SHE Electrical Standard and covered topics such as electrical risk, electrical contact, electric arc, working methods with voltage, grounding, protection against atmospheric discharges and electrical protections, where almost fifty engineers and operating personnel were able to train to improve electrical safety standards in their work areas.
